Join our School
Pupils usually start school at the start of the school year in September. Sometimes your child will need to start or change school after this because:
- You move house, either within or into Birmingham.
- You want your child to change schools for other reasons.
If you have moved house you will need to fill in an Application for a Change of School In-Year form and take it to your preferred school with proof of address.
If you want to apply for a place outside of Birmingham you should contact the local authority (Council) for that area.
The form should then be emailed back to the School’s Administration Team, msoadmin@bishopveseys.bham.sch.uk
Once we have received your application form, you will receive a response through the post. We will add you to the waiting list and then, should a place become available, you will be invited to sit an Entrance Exam here at Bishop Vesey’s Grammar School. This date will be set by the School. The place will be offered to the pupil with the highest score.
The examination board for KS3 exams is MidYIS and the examination board for KS4 exams is Yellis.
