Please visit this site and familiarise yourself with this information carefully. The qualifying score for admission in 2024 was 205. This score is set by the Governing Body.
In so doing we considered the fact carefully that all seven other Birmingham grammar schools had set 205 as the qualifying score for admission. This is considered as being a reasonable score for a pupil to attain in an entrance test and then go on to thrive in a grammar school.
Please note that the qualifying score is most significant for applicants who are Looked After or Previously Looked after Children or Applicants who attract Pupil Premium funding.
Other applicants should note that the score needed to gain a place a Bishop Vesey’s Grammar School is significantly higher than that.
